The
Clinton Fire Department is located in the heart of downtown Clinton, Hunterdon
County, New Jersey. We proudly protect a population of over 2,000 covering
approximately 1.2 square miles. We run out of one station located on the
corner of New Street and Old Route 22.
The Clinton Fire Department handles all the fire department duties --
extinguishing building fires, resetting fire alarms, supplying water at
car accidents, and other miscellaneous jobs -- for the town of Clinton.
Besides covering Clinton, we also cover parts of our neighboring towns,
Franklin and Union Townships.Outside of our first due area, we respond
when requested to other parts of the county. We typically average around
190 calls per year, most of which are smells of smoke and alarm bells.
Along with responding to fire calls, we have monthly drills and meetings.
The Clinton Fire Department is always looking for new membership. If interested,
call (908) 735-8613, or better yet, stop by the station. We are always
around on Wednesday nights and Sunday mornings and will be happy to show
you around. If you'd like more information about becoming a member, fill
out our Information Request Form.
